If your iPhone is constantly flashing that annoying “Storage Almost Full” message, you’re not alone. And no, you don’t have to delete your photos, videos, or apps you love. Let me show you smarter (and simpler) ways to free up space — without sacrificing your memories or your favorite tools.
I’ve been taking tons of photos, videos, and screenshots lately — so naturally, my iPhone storage started filling up fast. Luckily, the Photos app organizes everything into categories that make it super easy to review and delete.
Step 1 — Open Media Types
Open Photos, tap the third icon at the bottom (“Albums”), then scroll down to Media Types. From there, you can quickly delete screenshots, screen recordings, selfies, or videos.
Step 2 — Check Duplicates
Keep scrolling, and you’ll find a folder called “Duplicates.” This feature is a game-changer — it automatically detects repeated photos or videos so you can merge or delete them with just a tap.
